While here in Esquel we found a lady named Mica who is super prepared, her whole family are members and she never was baptized. We were able to teach her with the elders and she will be baptized soon!! All is going well. The mission is the best :) love you all!!

Special Experiences!

Buen dia familia!

This week was great!! we headed down to the south to help a matrimony (senior couple) move from Junin to Villa la Angostura! so that was fun, and while we were down there we took advantage of doing exchanges with the elders that are there in Junin and we had an amazing experience!! We went to go visit one of their investigators, Veronica, who is the wife of a less active member. She had assited the church the past few weeks and was thinking about getting  baptized but she still wasnt sure so we went in and we had a wonderful lesson with her! in the middle of the lesson we decided to have her pray right there to ask God if she needed to be baptized this saturday, she said she was scared to do it, so we had her husband pray first and right after she said she would do it. In the middle of her prayer she just went silent and you could hear her crying a little, she finished her prayer and said that she had never felt something like that, she explained that it was like someone there hugging her. We explained that that was the spirit, and she recieved her answer and was eventually baptized this past saturday by her husband Sergio who is reactivating :) It was such a special experience that we are so lucky that we were a part of! Things are going great! I love you all, have a great week!

Stand as a Witness!

Buen Dia Familia!

This week was crazy just like the last one! we went down to the south again to do zone conferences this week! We first went to Bariloche and then to Esquel. In the conferences we have been focused on our responsibility as misionaries to raise the faith of all of those around us, and i would say that that is our responsibility as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At baptism everyone of us has made a covenant or a two way promise that we will take upon us the name of Christ and be witnesses of him in every moment, every, word, and every action. That means that every week as we participate of the sacraments we make the promise to our Heavenly Parents that we will try to become more like our older brother Jesus Christ in the way that we act. Those daily actions that we make every week in the service of others is how we can help raise the faith of those around us! Also that means that in every moment we should be ready to testify and bear witness of Christ. In other words, as we partake of the sacrament we make the promise to be missionaries!!!! My invitation this week is to look for at least one oportunity to stand as a witness in Christ in something you do and say for someone in your life. :)

I love this work and this gospel with all my heart. I am learning so much about the importance of always having the Lord on our mind as we go through our daily life. Also this week i have had the chance to work with many misionaries and i am amazed at the testimonies that have been born of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. :)

Christ lives and loves each and everyone of us. :)

Love you all! Have a great week!

Exchanges in the South

Hola Familia!!

Sorry its late! This week was so cool! We went to the south to do exchanges with the Elderes and try and get things rolling. I was able to go to Esquel, Bariloche, and San Martin!! It was so cool!

Just one of the many experiences that i had, when i was in Esquel this week i went with Elder Heward, and we were trying to find new people for them to teach, and nothing was working out. So we decided to say a prayer and then we went to a members house. When we got there the sister of this member was there and told us that she has been interested in what the missionaries do but she was always emberassed to ask. We were able to teach her a little and she was really excited!! It was an awesome expeience to see how the Lord really listens to and answers our prayers!

That is all for this week! Love you all!!

Love,
