Crazy, Busy, Fun!
Hola Familia!
This week has been super crazy but super fun! The best part of the week was the conference that we had with Presidente! At the beginning of every transfer we have a conference with all the leaders, and this conference was really good! We talked about how we need to raise our expectations and trust in the Lord with all our heart and then act with love for everyone around us. It was such a spiritual meeting and i loved the focus we had in charity. Something that we learned that i loved is that at baptism we all take upon us the name of Christ, and so if we cant learn to love one other we really arent loving Christ. That is why we must have love for all men and learn to serve others because truly the way we act towards everyone is how we are showing that love and charity for Christ.
I love you all so much. Thank you all for your support and love in this time of my life :) You all are the best!
Love,
Elder Stuart
Elder Stuart was made an AP (Assistant to the President) last week and is really excited for his new assignment! I asked him some questions about his responsibilities and his past week and these were his responses:
Sounds like a wonderful suday you had! Mine was good! i have about 80 people in my new ward, and the building looks the same as the one in Cipo, and the people are as good as ever! Also i dont know if you remember Guillermo that got baptized in Cipo, well he moved to Neuquen and now he is in my ward again, so thats cool!
I live in a pension close to the home, but we are here almost every day planning and thinking about ways to help the mission, and doing exchanges with missionaries and talking with President about stuff! :) Being AP I have to help plan all the counsils and conferences, do exchanges with missionaries, plan on ideas to teach the mission on how to move the work forward, and when I have time, work in my area :)
We are just staying in the pension of the office elders for now but this week we are headed to the south! and hopefully we will have a pensionn when i get back! We have a car to spilt between the office, but we only use it for certain things, usually we walk if it is close! We usually eat in the home, or on our own because we dont have lunch with members because we never know when we are going to be here.:)
There is no snow here in Neuquen, im staying warm its in the 50s i think? hahah 90s sounds great right now! I eat well :) a little too well... haha but ive lost weight in the last couple of months!!

Neuquen!
Hola Familia!
This past week was great! Now we had transfers... and here comes more changes! I now got transfered to Neuquen with Elder Clemens! Im so excited for this next chapter of my mission to see all the miracles and experiences that I will have while i am here in Neuquen! My time in Cipolletti was a great part of my mission, the people there are so nice and work hard in this Work of the Lord! This week I really learned a lot about the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, something that i have been studying a lot lately is how important it is to learn from the times we fall, and pick ourselves back up through the atonement of Christ and become more like Him :) Great week! Im excited! And i hope you all have a great week!
Love,
Elder Stuart

"Why Do We Fall Bruce?"
Hola todos!
This week was great as always! We are seeing many great things here in Cipo! We have a lot of great investigators that we are working with, we just are stuck on a few with one final step to help them be baptized! We have a lot that are there and ready they just need to take the decision! Its awesome :)
This week i have been learning a lot about how we must fall so that Christ can raise us up. That is why we had the fall of Adam, so that Christ could come in and pick us up. I love the scripture in 2 corinthians 12:9 (y 10) that talks about how the grace of Christ has its power in weakness. Or when we recognize that we have faults and need help, he is able to interpose and fill in the gap and make us into a better person. It is the only way to become like Him. We must fall, apply the atoning sacrifice of our Savior and He will lift us up.
Like in Batman when Alfred asks bruce...¨why do we fall Bruce?¨.... ¨so we can pick ourselves back up.¨As we pick ourselves up in the Grace of Christ we will become more like Him.
Yes im still a nerd :)
Love you all! Have a great week everyone!
Love,
Elder Stuart

Trio in Cipo
This week was great! Working in a trio is actually really fun! You always have something to talk about and more ideas! This week was really good because we had new missionaries here in Cipo and that means, new energy and it was amazing to see what the zone was able to do this week! Also we have two new missionaries and so we had their animo as well! It is amazing to see that it is all in our heads, if we are excited and believe that we can do it. we will do it. If we are down and dont put our trust in God and in our abilities we wont get anywhere. The mind is really powerful and as we put our focus centered in Christ we will be able to accomplish great things :)
Also something that i have really been learning in my time here in Cipo is the importance of Love and Charity. As we serve others and look for the best in them and for them, we will be able to help more people to come unto Christ. If we are simply trying to push and force people to do something it will never work. Just like Christ taught us, ¨come unto me.¨He invites us with open loving arms to come unto him and be perfected and as we try and do that with our brothers and sisters they will be more apt to come unto Christ and recieve the grace that comes from his atonement :)
I love you all! have a wonderful week, work hard, and love a lot. :)

Elder Stuart

Miracles
This week we saw a lot of miracles happen. We have had quite a bit of problems in the zone this last transfer and we had to fight through it, but we saw that it was really a trial of our faith and at the end of the transfer we got to see that almost every companionship in our zone had at least one baptism! It was awesome to see the miracles that come when we keep going strong! Bruma and Eluney got baptized in our area, the two girls of the part member family and it was really cool to see because their family started to come and are more active now! It was amazing :)
We had transfers yesterday! and i will be staying here in Cipo!!!! Elder McCook is going to stay with me for the last two weeks of his mission, because he extended, and we are going to be in a trio with Elder Nochreiner from California! We are excited to see these new changes and see what we will be able to do this transfer!
(Note from Mom: Now they have 5 Elders living in their little pension! They hope to be back to just the trio by the end of the week. Ryan will be training his new companion to be a zone leader with him!)
Todo bien here in Cipo! I love the mission, this ward, the people, everything! i am so happy and things are going great :) I know the Lord is always on our side and is there to help us right after we learn the lesson that we need. Keep going strong in what ever challenge you face in life because the Lord will help you if you let him! Love you all! have a great week!

Leap of Faith
This week was really good! We learned a great lesson this week... sometimes you have to jump out of an airplane without a parachute and trust that God will catch you. Or... take a leap of faith ;) haha! In our area we have seen a lot of progression but nobody is making it to baptism for this reason or that. and so this week we decided to take a leap of faith and be direct with the people that we are teaching and their families and trust that God is going to give us the authority to do so. And it works! when we do what Jacob says in chapter 4 and we tell them how it is, then just like moroni teaches us, that authority and pure love of Christ will touch the hearts of the children of men. One of the many experiences that we had, was we went to a house of a part member family and we are teaching the grandaughters of this grandma, but their dad isnt a member and didnt give us permission to baptize them even though it is something that they want to do. But for some reason we went there yesterday and he basically told us to baptize them this saturday and he doesnt have a problem now that saturday we started to think about it and changed his mind and thought it would be good for his daughters :) IT WAS AMAZING!!! when we trust in God and we act in our faith he is so wiling to bless us!! I invite all of you to try it! jump out of the airplane!!! .... well not literally... but act in your faith and God will bless you!
haha and now the funny part! The elders here in cipo are moving pensiones and so they are staying with us for a couple days while everything gets moved in. Lets just say we have four elders living in a penison that is small and it gets interesting at times! it has been fun to get to know them better!
I love you all and i am glad to hear that all is well :) have a wonderful week everyone!

Cipo!!!
This week was great! working with the members is so much better! This week we found a part member family and we are now teaching three of the kids in that family and the girlfriend/almost wife of one of the sons! It is awesome to see because the whole family came to church on Sunday and now we are just working on some things with them and we will be seeing another eternal family soon! Church was incredible! haha i felt like i was back in utah there where so many people! we had about 130 asistence and when i got up to give my testimony i was speechless. It is so much different than chos malal! I love them both, the both have there ups and downs, but that was so cool to see so many members in one place!
Miracle of the week: the hermanas in our ward called us and told us that they had a lesson planned with a man but their member that was going to go with them bailed, and they cant go alone, because he lives alone, so we got to go and teach him instead :) he has been coming to church for about a month and a half he loves everything but for some reason didnt want to be baptized yet. Mi and my comp didnt have anything planned, but we just followed the spirit and we asked questions and we were able to find out what was missing and help him, and we are now planning his baptism for this saturday :) it was such amiracle. it is amazing what happens when we follow the spirit, because at the same time the hermanas got to go to another investigator that really needed them in that moment. It is amazing to see that when we follow the spirit everything works out and the Lord knows what we need to do. Trust in him and he will direct thy paths :)
Great week! Love you all, and have a wonderful week!
Love,
Elder Stuart!

Cipolletti!
This week was awesome!! Really different, but i loved it and love this change here in Cipolletti!! I am learning so much especially from my comp and I am growing into the person that God needs from me. Here in Cipo the work is really different because there are like 130 members! haha so that was really werid! when i saw the chapel i thought i was in Utah again! haha it is much different than the 20 or so members in Chos! Elder Mccook is helping me learn how to work with the members better and i am learning a lot and seeing that really it is the way to do missionary work. We are working with one family that are all baptized but the little kid that is 10, because they were inactive for a while, and now they are reactivating and we are going to have the baptism of Maximo the 18!!! That is our plan :) we are working with many people, especially part member families, and teaching those that havent made it to the waters of baptism, it is really cool because we are strengthening the family and the members and we are also bringing other souls to Christ :) It is an amazing work. I love it :) Things are great! Im so happy and so excited! Funny story time. THis week i had to cut my hair and there always has been someone to do it... but in Cipo there isnt, and we didnt want to have to pay and we thought... well it cant be too hard to cut hair! SO we grabbed some siccors and my comp started to cut my hiar.... hahah lets just say we ended up having to go pay to fix it! hahah it was funny :) things are amazing! Love you all! have a great week!!!

Elder Stuart

Hola todos!!!!
This week was a great week! We were able to keep finding new people to teach and work with some investigators that we have and help them start making their way to baptism....but im out of chos malal! :/ i am now headed to Cipolletti to be with Elder Mccook from Arizona! im so excited for this new change and this oportunity that i have to serve the people here. Please keep us in your prayers with this change we are going to make. :)
Not much happened this week, it was hard to leave Chos but i know that it is the will of the Lord. We were able to see the baptism of a woman named Karina, from the other Elders, so that was fun. Things are great and i am so excited for this next transfer and what we are going to see! Have a great week!
Love, Elder Stuart
