Crazy, Busy, Fun!

Hola Familia!

This week has been super crazy but super fun! The best part of the week was the conference that we had with Presidente! At the beginning of every transfer we have a conference with all the leaders, and this conference was really good! We talked about how we need to raise our expectations and trust in the Lord with all our heart and then act with love for everyone around us. It was such a spiritual meeting and i loved the focus we had in charity. Something that we learned that i loved is that at baptism we all take upon us the name of Christ, and so if we cant learn to love one other we really arent loving Christ. That is why we must have love for all men and learn to serve others because truly the way we act towards everyone is how we are showing that love and charity for Christ.

I love you all so much. Thank you all for your support and love in this time of my life :) You all are the best!

Love,
Elder Stuart

Mom's note:
Elder Stuart was made an AP (Assistant to the President) last week and is really excited for his new assignment! I asked him some questions about his responsibilities and his past week and these were his responses:

Sounds like a wonderful suday you had! Mine was good! i have about 80 people in my new ward, and the building looks the same as the one in Cipo, and the people are as good as ever! Also i dont know if you remember Guillermo that got baptized in Cipo, well he moved to Neuquen and now he is in my ward again, so thats cool!

I live in a pension close to the home, but we are here almost every day planning and thinking about ways to help the mission, and doing exchanges with missionaries and talking with President about stuff! :) Being AP I have to help plan all the counsils and conferences, do exchanges with missionaries, plan on ideas to teach the mission on how to move the work forward, and when I have time, work in my area :)

We are just staying in the pension of the office elders for now but this week we are headed to the south! and hopefully we will have a pensionn when i get back! We have a car to spilt between the office, but we only use it for certain things, usually we walk if it is close! We usually eat in the home, or on our own because we dont have lunch with members because we never know when we are going to be here.:)

There is no snow here in Neuquen, im staying warm its in the 50s i think? hahah 90s sounds great right now! I eat well :) a little too well... haha but ive lost weight in the last couple of months!!

Neuquen!

Hola Familia!

This past week was great! Now we had transfers... and here comes more changes! I now got transfered to Neuquen with Elder Clemens! Im so excited for this next chapter of my mission to see all the miracles and experiences that I will have while i am here in Neuquen! My time in Cipolletti was a great part of my mission, the people there are so nice and work hard in this Work of the Lord! This week I really learned a lot about the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, something that i have been studying a lot lately is how important it is to learn from the times we fall, and pick ourselves back up through the atonement of Christ and become more like Him :) Great week! Im excited! And i hope you all have a great week!

Elder Stuart

Do All We Can

This week was great :) This week we had interviews with President! He is such an inspired man. He taught me a really great lesson because i just want to help everyone and when people dont want help it is hard for me, He then shared with me what happened in the vida premortal with our Heavenly Father. Even He, being God, couldnt help all of His children because we cant override agency, He did all He could, but still a third of the hosts of heaven left. I learned that we must keep going anyway, do all that we can and then leave it up to the agency of others. But we need to make sure we did all that we can. One of the most spiritual expereinces of my life that day :) Great week, Love you all! Have a wonderful week and know i am praying for each and everyone of you!

Elder Stuart

Service

This week was great and full of service! This week we have been able to do a lot of service but the one that was really special was we went to a members house that lives out in the middle of nowhere, and they havent had fire wood to heat their house or cook for awhile now. We just now found out so The guys from the ward went out their with us and we were able to spend a couple of hours in a lot cutting down trees and making fire wood for them :) It was amazing to see how humble these people really are and the joy on their face when they recived just wood, rice, noodles, and flour. Just by simple things this family was so greatful and joyful, that it touched every one of our hearts. Sometimes we get so caught up in what we dont have when we really have everything and we forget that there are people out there with much greater needs. Service is the way to show are charity, and as we do it we can show are love to others, and more importantly to our Heavenly Father. Mosiah 2:17 :)

I love you all and hope that we can all look for a way to serve others this week :) and i promise you that you will have a better week!

Elder Stuart

Miracles

This was a great week! The only thing that was kind of sad was that Elder McCook finished his mission! Its so cool and im so proud but im gonna miss him! This week we saw a lot of miracles, Juan Flores and Angel Reyes got baptized! The story of Juan is really cool, two pdays ago he walked into the church and i went to talk with him, and he started speaking to me in English! That was weird! He told me he had been in the states for about ten years and came back now to be with his family, and his last year in Orlando he was living with a mormon family and went to church for that year. Why he never heard the missionaries or got baptized, i have no idea, but he didnt. SO we started to teach him, well the hermanas did because he is in their area but we got to teach him a couple of times when they couldnt, he came to church two weeks in a row and got baptized this week!! It was such a miracle :) Miracles are real! God knows when we need blessings! I promise!

Angel is the grandson of a member and he is awesome :) We also had a pretty cool primary activity this week! the missionaries were incharge and it was based on superheros! lets just say i had the home court advantage! It turned out really well and the kids loved it and we met some of their friends!

Great week! Love you all! have a wonderful week!
